Meet the Team - Oliver Tweddell

Our "Meet the Team" features continue this week as we head into the Operations team and have a chat to recently engaged Oliver Tweddell! Yep, you might have heard about him in the sailing stratosphere before, narrowly missing out on a Tokyo Olympics spot in the Australian Sailing team (more about that here) - but we are oh so lucky to have him amongst our ranks for day to day happenings here at Bamboo HQ. What's your role at Bamboo?
Recently just changed title to Business Operations Manager.

You are a tough one to put a title on, because you're such a utility! What do you love about your job?
The team culture & mindset and wearing many hats within the business. I also love the speed at which we operate and wearing many hats within the business means I learn something everyday.

When you're not at work what are you up to?
I will be on a boat, in the gym or spending time with my Fiancee.

Congratulations Oli, so stoked for you two! What's your favourite holiday destination?
I love Lake Garda in Italy, it has amazing sailing & kitesurfing conditions and lots of places to explore.

Honeymoon location perhaps...Do you have a favourite crypto project you’re keeping a close eye on?
I'm keeping an eye on MATIC.

Have you been into crypto for a while?
I am relatively new to Crypto, as I started at the end of 2020, but have really enjoyed learning all about it.

If you weren’t a Business Operations Manager what would you be?
I love what I do, but if not this, then just chill on a boat.

What was your childhood dream?
To go to the Olympics.

Favourite sports team?
Tottenham Hotspurs

Favourite social media platform and why?
Instagram, helps me keep in touch with my friends easily from overseas.

Any podcasts we should check out?
Obviously Crypto Curious, but after that I love The Side Hustle Show & Proof.

Any TV / Movie recommendation for us?
Favourite Movie is anything Marvel, but also a big fan of Endgame.
