This isn’t the kind of thing most people Google in their spare time. So let’s break it down in plain English (without putting you to sleep)...

So, what is SOC 2?

SOC stands for System and Organisation Controls. In plain English, it’s a globally recognised audit that checks if a company has proper systems in place to protect your data and run things reliably.

SOC 2 specifically looks at five key areas, called the Trust Services Criteria:

• Security: Are we protecting against unauthorised access?
• Availability: Is our platform reliable and online when you need it?
• Processing Integrity: Is your data handled accurately?
• Confidentiality: Is sensitive info properly protected?
• Privacy: Are we following best practices with personal data?

For our Type 1 certification, we’ve shown that the systems and controls we’ve put in place meet those high standards.
